ARIZONA

George Henderson, a principal at BeachFleischman, Tucson, was appointed president, succeeding firm co-founder David Cohen, who has served in the role since 2016. Henderson joined BeachFleischman in 1991 as an audit professional.

CALIFORNIA

Brian Surratt

Brian Surratt was elected managing partner at Lavine, Lofgren, Morris & Engelberg, San Diego. Surratt joined the firm in 2003 and worked there for 10 years before venturing out to establish Aztec Accountancy Group, Inc., and then returning to LLME in 2019 as a tax partner. In other firm news, Erin Carlson and Victor Shlionsky were elevated to the tax partnership.

Peter Rodwick was hired as a tax partner in the financial services practice at CohnReznick, Los Angeles.

Grant Thornton, Chicago, named Alley-Oop Kids to its Purple Paladin program, which helps emerging nonprofit organizations by providing funding, business advice and volunteer support, and helping raise awareness of their work and mission. Founded in 2022 by then 15-year-old Rishan Patel, Alley-Oop Kids is dedicated to bringing sports to kids on a global scale by providing access to sporting equipment using "lending lockers."

Camille Clemons was appointed market leader, alternative investments, at Cohen & Co., Chicago.

Michael Fussman was hired as a managing director in the restructuring and dispute resolution practice at CohnReznick, Chicago.

Natalie McHugh was promoted to principal at Cray, Kaiser, Oakbrook.

Antonino Bondi, Danielle Ciechanski, Mark Dekhtyar, William Rothmann and Rachel VonDrasek were admitted as partners at Porte Brown, Elk Grove Village.
